Privacy

Pawrently is built to hold as little as possible. Here's the plain-English version.

What we store

  • Your email, a first name if you give one, and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, just your verified email and an account ID from them; we never see your Google or GitHub password).
  • Your pets' names, species, breed, dates, optional photo and the care records you type in — dates and short labels only.
  • Optional pet details you enter: microchip number, allergies or health notes, vet and insurance.
  • If you create a lost-pet tag, the phone number and note you choose to show, plus any message or location a finder chooses to send you.
  • If you turn on push notifications, a subscription token for that device.

What we don't want

Please don't add bank details, payment cards, government IDs or scans of documents. Pawrently has no document upload on purpose.

Sharing

Your pet's health card, lost-pet tag page and birthday card are private until you create a link. The lost-pet tag page shows your phone number to anyone who scans the tag, so only use a number you are happy to share. Anyone with a link can view what you chose to show, and you can turn it off or replace the link whenever you like. Your calendar link is secret and shows only due dates and pet names. Co-pawrents you invite can see that pet's records.

Emails and reminders

We email you reminders you asked for, invites you send, and password resets. You can switch reminder emails off in Settings.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete my account removes your account, your pets and their records immediately.

Ads and selling data

There are no ads and we don't sell your data.
